Cloud Gate Sculpture

Oil
9"x12'

The latest painting in the Karin Jurick's...Different Strokes for Different Folks. A nice challenge to get the reflections following the bean-like form. I did take the liberty to straighten the buildings in the background as the photo was quite skewed and not what the eye would see.

You are so smart Jerry... so thats why I kept struggling with my building... even now I still find that part of my painting jarring.
I did everything I could with my little bit of architecture including painting it abstractly with crazy colors trying to soothe my eye... but it never happened. Also my bride leads you off the panel.. I'm thinkin of adding a tree to pull you back in.

I like your sunset! This place needed some color.

I like what you did with red peeking through, and how you signed it in red. A lovely painting.
