Another small work from the Karin Jurick, Different Stroke From Different Folks. A difficult challenge working from the photo reference. My decision was to make a change in color from the very cool, blue reference. As I tell my students that want to work from photos, it is so difficult to sense the space and depth that plein-air painting sessions provide. On the other hand, in this case, security may frown from a painter setting up an easel in this location.
