Oil on Linen
24"x36"
Lately, many of my paintings have been in this size. It is very managable in a studio setting and I really like the feel and give of the linen canvas. This is a continuation of my limited palette and greying down of many of the hues.
On another note, despite the bad weather, friends and supporters braved the elements for my opening last night at the JCC. Thanks to all and the help from staff: Lisa Freeman and Mindi Epstein. A good night overall...sold two paintings.

I am really attracted to the purple and orange hues in the distant trees - the whole atmosphere is wonderful
Congrats Jerry! So glad you had a good turn out and sold some art. I had wanted to attend but Tues. evenings are when the grandchildren visit.
I'm not sure which of your styles I like better, the muted colors or the more abstract, glowing colors. It's great to be able to pull off either one!
