From Green Fields to the Purple Pass

SOLD
Oil on Canvas
24"x48'

Each time I approach a blank canvas I try to be innovative, experimental, open and improvisational and sometimes just different.
Landscapes don't always have to be horizontal and I've never been shy in the use of color. So, here it is. The first of a series, to explore the process of applying paint and texture to the canvas. It was so enjoyable to lose myself in this painting and to bring it to closure.

Wow! Love this one. I like the vertical canvas, interestingly different brush strokes for you!

Thanks Amanda and Karen. It was and interesting experiment and I enjoyed the process. I sold it before I could get a frame on it.
