Oil on Panel
16"x20"
This was a painting I completed for the Noblesville paintout. The work is 16"x20" and was a challenge to finish in plein air. I spent some time looking for a different view and when I say the stairs in the alley, I knew that was the design contrast I wanted for the painting. A lot of plein air artists in these paintouts play it safe and paint something they have painted many times before. I think I would rather try something different as I think that is what the creative process is all about.
